Vetterkind, Rueben (15 APR 1913 – 31 OCT 1968)

Rueben Vetterkind, 55, died at his home in the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) on Thursday, October 31st, 1968. Funeral services were held at the Thorp Funeral Home on Monday, November 4, 1968. Rev. Robert Olson officiated at the two p.m. service, and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Pallbearers were: Earl Baehr, Don Pitt, Ray Vetterkind, Glen Vetterkind, Arlis Offord and Fritz Vetterkind.

Rueben was born April 15, 1913 in the town of Reseburg. He was married December 26, 1940 in Dresden, North Dakota to Velva Moore. They have lived and farmed in the town of Reseburg since their marriage.

Surviving are his wife, Velva; three sons, Richard and Lynn of St. Paul, Minn., and Pat at home; three brothers, Elmer of Thorp, Walter and Earl of New Auburn; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Klaar, New Auburn, Mrs. Lila Pearsall of Mont Climins, Michigan, and Mrs. Elsie Bobb of Thorp.
