Baldeschwiler, Minnie (19 JUL 1882 – 31 OCT 1968)
Mrs. Minnie Baldeschwiler, 86, of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis., died suddenly Thursday
afternoon, October 31, 1968, at the Stanley Memorial Hospital Nursing Home,
where she had been a patient for the past four months. Mrs. Baldeschwiler was
born July 19, 1882 at Brillion, Wis. She married Anton Baldeschwiler at
Brillion, November 5, 1907, and they farmed in the Town of Worden, Clark County,
until 1941, when they moved to thorp. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding
anniversary last November. Her husband preceded her in death in May of this
year.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Martin Oberle, Stanley; Mrs. Harley Hoffman,
Thorp; Mrs. Rita Stav, Wausau, and Mrs. Roger Harper, Racine; two sons, Raymond
and Alfred Baldeschwiler, both of Thorp; one brother, Bill Pritzl of Brillion;
two sisters, Mrs. Joe Anhalt, Cato, Wis., and Mrs. Emil Hatman, Appleton; 2
grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church,
Thorp, with the Rev. Francis Brockman officiating. Burial was in the parish
cemetery.
