Huls, Hazel (11 MAR 1895 – 31 OCT 1968)
Funeral services were held Saturday in St. Bernard's Catholic Church for Hazel
Huls, aged 73, who passed away Thursday at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.
Rev. Francis Brockman officiated.
Hazel Graham was born in Big Harbor (Door Co.), Wisconsin, on March 11, 1895.
She was married to Henry Huls, who preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn,
three daughters, Mrs. Alvin Jacque, Mrs. John Paff (Lucretia) of Thorp, and Mrs.
Leonard Larson of Stanley; one son, William of Thorp, eighteen grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Edmund (Ula) ?? of Thorp, Mrs.
Jeff (Orma) Frese of Stanley, Mrs. Jens (Addi) Wi?? Of Cadott, and Mrs. Fred
(Daisy) Johnston of Chippewa Falls; two brothers, Frank of Thorp and Oliver of
Holman, Wis. Two sisters preceded her in death.
Burial was made in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Maier
Sr., Jay Alger, Art Jacque, Fred Warns, Stanley Burzynski, and Edward
Sniegowski.
