On Sunday, November 17, 1968, 7 young people were confirmed and received into
full membership at the Thorp United Methodist Church. The Confirmation was part
of the regular morning worship service that day, led by Pastor Rev. David L.
Fuller.
Those confirmed were Phillip Anthony Bodamer, Brian Clarence Budophson, Gerald
Glenn Hubbard, Mona Rae Misfeldt, Marth Jane Paff, James Robert Sarafin, and
Scott Jaeger Seaholm.
One had received Baptism the previous Sunday and reaffirmed those vows. The
others affirmed the vows made by their parents when they received Baptism as
small children, and then all professed their faith and took the vow of
membership of the church.
