Mrs. Rub Verkuilen announce the engagement of her daughter, Susan Ellen, to Mr. James David Baudette, son of Mr. and Mrs. David H. Beaudette of 2096 Palace, St. Paul, Minn.

Miss Verkuilen is a 1962 graduate of thorp High School and a 1966 graduate of Eau Claire State University, with a major in lower elementary education. She is currently teaching kindergarten at St. Anthony Park School in St. Paul.

Mr. Beaudette is a 1963 graduate of Cretin High School in St. Paul, and a 1967 graduate of St. John's University, Collegeville, Minn., with majors in economics and accounting. He is currently employed with Sears, Roebuck and Co. at Brookdale Shopping Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The wedding will take place on February 15, 1969 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
