Durbin, Elmer E. (2 APR 1902 – 10 DEC 1968)
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hoeper-Kraut Funeral Home for Elmer
E. Durbin, 66, who died of an apparent heart attack at Victory Memorial Hospital
at Stanley last Tuesday.
The Rev. Carl Booher officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Durbin was born April 2, 1902 in Iowa, and was a veteran of World War II. He
was employed as a laborer and lived in Owen, Curtiss and Withee (Clark Co.,
Wis.) area since 1923. He was never married.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Felix (Edna) Pozanski, Sheridan, Wis.; Mrs.
Orpha Dick, Somerset, Ky.; four brothers, Alfred, Owen; Homer, Howard and Glenn,
all of Withee.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
