Kosakoski, Anthony (9 JUL 1879 – 15 JAN 1969)
Anthony Kosakoski, 89, of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) died at Victory Memorial
Hospital in Stanley last Wednesday night.
He was born in Poland on July 9, 1879 and came to the United States in 1916. He
farmed in the Boyd area until 1950, when he moved to Thorp. He married Albertyna
Jarocki in 1921.
He is survived by his wife; one son, John; one stepson, Woolaf Hera; and two
step-daughters, Mrs. Raymond Marion and Mrs. John Hahn, all of Boyd; 24
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Amelia Paholski of
Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Hedwig's Chapel in
Thorp, with Rev. Connie Chilicki officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery
(Old St. Hedwig's).
