Harry J. Ogle Dies; was 58; Rites Friday
Funeral services for Harry J. Ogle, 58, town of Grover, who died in St. Joseph’s
Hospital at Marshfield Tuesday, January 26, 1960, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday,
January 29, in the Perkinstown Community Church. The Rev. R. E. Aden will
officiate. Burial will be in the Perkinstown community cemetery.
The body will repose at the Ruesch Funeral Home from 10 a.m. Thursday until an
hour before the services.
Mr. Ogle was born at Millston, Jackson County, on April 12, 1901, and came to
Taylor County in 1923 to engage in woods work. In 1930 he settled on a farm in
the town of Grover, where he had since resided. He was married to Dorothy
Westrich at Perkinstown on June 28, 1926.
Surviving are his wife; 8 children, Arnold Ogle, serving with the Navy at
Williamsburg, Va.; Mrs. Harlie (Iris) Faude, route 2, Owen; Gerald Ogle, town of
Grover; Mrs. Louis (Ottilia) Kohn, Platteville; Glen Ogle, town of Grover; Mrs.
Norman (Marlene) Skabroud, Jump River; Mrs. Robert (Elva) Drier, Phillips; and
Susan Ogle, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Mike Strozewski, Gilman; Mrs. Frank
Goltzka, Warrens and Mrs. Peter Olson, Tucson, Ariz., and two half-brothers,
Homer Walworth, PSR, Medford and Charles Walworth, Warrens.
