Ogle, Clyde J. (8 JUL 1954 - 7 MAR 2012)
Clyde J. Ogle passed away on Wednesday morning, March 7, 2012 at his home in
Jump River, WI where he had lived for the past seventeen years.
He was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 8, 1954 to Arnold and Louise Ogle. He
finished twelve years of school, spending two more years in the U. A. Army. He
spent a year in Turkey where he set Nuclear Weapons along the Russian border.
In high school he enjoyed playing sports, basketball, baseball and football.
After spending two years in the Army he attended Stevens Point College and
graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources. He really enjoyed
learning and the computer became very important in his life.
Clyde never married, but he had his special dog, "Boomer" who was always by his
side and they both left this earth together. Clyde loved his family and he loved
to fish and hunt and their special times during hunting season.
He is survived by his mother, Louise Ogle of Ladysmith, WI, two sisters, Dawn
(Bruce) Koehn of Milwaukee, WI, Cheryl Ogle (Brad Edming) of Glen Flora, WI, two
brothers, Tim (Amy) Ogle of Stanley, Brent (Lori) Ogle of Jump River, plus
nieces and nephews, Erica (Ryan), Erin, Tyler, Chance, Jesse, Cassidy, Kayla,
Kyle, and Kelsey.
He is preceded in death by his father, Arnold Ogle and two brothers Mark and Lee
Ogle.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the
Jump River Community Center with Pastor Craig Lindgren officiating. Interment
will follow in Mount Nebo Cemetery, Jump River with the Jump River VFW Hugh
Warner Post 2977 performing military graveside rites.
Friends and family may call from 10-1 at the community center prior to service
time.
