Czech, Hattie (15 NOV 1893 – 31 JAN 1969)
Funeral services for Hattie Czech, 75, who passed away January 31, 1969, at her
home, were held on February 4, 1969 at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin, with Rev.
Norbert West officiating at the ten a.m. service. Burial was in the parish
cemetery.
Pallbearers were: John Penk, Walter Handzki, Chester Zajack, Casey Wojcik,
Bernard Prokopiak and Ray Czech.
Hattie Rosznowicz was born November 15, 1893 in Poland. She was united in
marriage to Joseph Czech, who preceded her in death, in February of 1916 in
Poland. They came to the states in 1910, residing in the Lublin (Taylor Co.,
Wis.) area.
Surviving are four sons, Edward, Alex and Steve, all of Chicago, and Albin of
Lublin; two daughters-in-law, Helen and Sophie of Chicago; three grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren, and one cousin, Jacob Marczuk of Chicago.
Friends and relatives attending the funeral were from Thorp, Gilman, Eau Claire,
Withee, Owen, Lublin, Hannibal, Stanley, Wis., and Chicago, Ill.
