Christian, Jay (27 AUG 1892 – 23 FEB 1969)
Jay Christian was born August 27, 1892 at Thorp (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, and
passed away February 23, 1969. He was a resident of Thorp until 1964, when he
entered the Grand Army Home at King, Wisconsin. Jay Christian was a Veteran of
World War I. In 1963 he became ill and was a patient at the Grand Army Hospital
at King.
Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Grace Boardman of Thorp, Mrs. Angie Vander
Linden of Gilman, Mrs. Lulu Hahn of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Tola Velman of Sheboygan
Falls, and six nephews and five nieces.
A military funeral was held at the Thorp Funeral Home and interment was at the
East Thorp Cemetery on Wednesday, February 26, 1959.
