Luther Memorial Church, Sheboygan, was the setting Saturday afternoon for the wedding of Mrs. Nancy Kewin, 3111 N. 10th St., and James Dunton. The Rev. Elmer Larson was officiating clergyman for the 2:30 o'clock nuptial ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hempleman, Rt. 2, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wisconsin.. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunton, 1100 Orchard Dr., Sheboygan, are the parents of the bridegroom.

An A-line skimmer in mariner blue petite ottoman was bridal attire for the former Mrs. Kewin. The bateau neckline, short sleeves, and empire waistline were outlined in matching Venice lace. A floor length veil of silk illusion held the bride's velvet flower headpiece, which was centered with pearls and fabric droplets. To complement the ensemble, the bride carried a cascade bouquet of aqua carnations and butterfly roses, accented with Camelia foliage and a shower of white ribbon streamers.

Mrs. Richard Oldenburg attended her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss LuAnn Dunton, sister of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Thomas Lawrence. All of the attendants wore gold A-line gowns featuring back panels and sleeves and necklines trimmed with Venice lace. Headpieces were double bows of silk peau with four tiered face veils. Flowers held by the aids were colonial arrangements of white tiara carnations with Camelia foliage and gold velvet ribbon streamers.

Flower girls was the bride's daughter, Christina Kewin. For the occasion she wore a white nylon dress with yellow polka dots. She had a yellow floral headpiece, outlined in tulle, to which a matching veil was secured. The young attendant carried a bouquet similar to that of the bride.

Thomas Lawrence was best man at the service. Those in roles of groomsmen were Gary Dunton, brother of the bridegroom, and Richard Oldenburg, a brother-in-law of the bride. Ushering duties were shared by Robert Halida, brother-in-law of the bride, and Richard Zeller.

Church decorations for the occasion were bouquets of white gladioli and carnations. Glen Holmer was organized and accompanied Elroy Begalke, when he sang "The Wedding Prayer" and "O Perfect Love."

The newlyweds are spending two weeks at Glendale, California. When they return, they will reside at 3111 N. 10th St. Mr. Dunton works for Nomschoff Chairs, Inc.
