Hickman, William "Bill" (16 OCT 1892 – 3 APR 1969)
William "Bill" Hickman, age 76, passed away April 3, 1969 at the Victory
Memorial Hospital, Stanley, Wis.
He was born in the village of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) October 16, 1892. In his
younger days he worked in logging camps in and around this area. Also, he was a
carpenter and mason. He later settled on a farm in the town of Reseburg, where
he lived until the time of his death.
He is survived by one son, Jack, one brother, John, and one sister, Kate Bradle,
all of Thorp; also four nieces.
Funeral services were held at the Thorp Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon,
April 5, by Rev. David Fuller.
Mr. Tony Lang, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Chester Johnson, sang.
Burial was in the Thorp East Side Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles and Tony Jasinski, Elmer Kuester, Dewey Williams,
Walter Jaskot and Mike Clerf.
