Malaszuk, Amelia (13 MAR 1890 – 24 MAR 1969)

Mrs. Amelia Malaszuk passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, on March 24, 1969. Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Chapel Thursday, March 27th, with the Rev. Constance Chilicki officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

The former Amelia Zajac was born in Poland on March 13, 1890. She married Joseph Malaszuk and came to America and settled in the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area some 60 years ago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, one son, Chester, and one grandson, Eugene.

Surviving are two sons, Stanley of Thorp and Frank of West Allis, Wis., and one daughter, Wanda of Chicago; nine grandchildren, John of Buena Park, Calif., Delores and Kathleen of Thorp, Steven Jr., Michael and Mary of Chicago, and Francis, Robert and Linda of West Allis, and two great-grandchildren, Kimberly and John Jr. of Buena Park, Calif.

Pallbearers were Charles Jasinski, Charles Gutowski, James Serocki, Francis Lig..(?), Chester Zajack and Florian Gulczynski.

Friends and relatives were from Thorp, Stanley, Owen, Withee, Greenwood, Chicago, West Allis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Gilman, Nekoosa, Fall Creek, Lublin, Neillsville and Willard.
