Kraemer, Loretta E. (Dassow) (28 JUL 1927 - 7 MAY 2013)
Loretta E. Kraemer, 85, of W4979 Dassow Ave, Medford, Town of Medford Resident,
passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau
where she had been a patient for the past 1 day.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 11 at the Trinity
Lutheran Church, Whittlesey, with Rev. Randall Jeppesen officiating. Interment
will be at Medford Evergreen II Cemetery, Medford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Granddaughters: Laurie Brost, Amy Kostner, Susie
Doberstein, Sarah Jakel, Nina Kraemer, Jennifer Freeman and Lisa Marsh; active
pallbearers will be Grandsons: Joey Kraemer, Jimmy Kraemer, Travis Krautkramer,
Craig Krautkramer, Phillip Kraemer, Jeff Kraemer, Robert Lindow, Daniel Lindow
and Jason Lindow.
Visitation will take place at 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M.
Saturday, May 11 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey.
Loretta was born on July 28, 1927, in Whittlesey, to Edward and Anna (Lissner)
Dassow Sr. She attended Whittlesey elementary school.
On February 7, 1948, Loretta was married to Henry J. Kraemer. They celebrated 65
years together. They owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Medford
until 1971. Loretta was also a housewife and mother. She enjoyed gardening,
fishing, playing cards, camping, polka music and dancing, bird watching and
flowers. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey.
She is survived by her husband, Henry J. Kraemer Jr. of Medford, children Bonnie
Lindow of Medford, Roman (Joyce) Kraemer of Medford, Shirley (Roger) Weiler of
Unity, William (Beverley) Kraemer of Medford, Beverly (Marvin) Krautkramer of
Edgar, Larry (Kathy) Kraemer of Medford, Thomas Kraemer of Rhinelander and Gary
(Lisa) Kraemer of Medford; 16 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren and 4
Step-Great-Grandchildren.
Loretta is also survived by siblings, Edward (Sue) Dassow Jr. of Medford and
Marge (Richard) Jensen of Medford; Sisters-In-law: Lorain Dassow of Medford,
Catherine Dassow of Whittlesey and Kate Dassow of Medford.
She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Anna (Lissner) Dassow Sr., child
Marcella in infancy, and Grandson Scott Lindow; and siblings Elmer, Oscar and
Lawrence Dassow, Esther Linzner, Melva Gengler and Erna in infancy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Loretta’s family to be designated
at a later date.
