Neumueller, Irma J. (Schwoch) (8 OCT 1935 - 19 APR 2012)
Irma J. Neumueller, 75, of 225 Marjorie Lane, a City of Medford Resident, and
Former Town of Chelsea Resident, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at her
residence surrounded by her loving family and Hope Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 23 at the Trinity
Lutheran Church, Whittlesey, with Rev. Randal Jeppesen officiating. Interment
will be at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Whittlesey.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Ryan Fuchs, Brad Blasel, Matthew and Corey
Neumueller, Jesse and Michael Harder.
Visitation will be held at 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 22 at the Hemer
Funeral Home, Medford and also from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00
A.M. Saturday, April 23 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey.
Irma was born on October 8, 1935, in the Town of Chelsea, to Paul and Myrtle (Rindt)
Schwoch. She attended Chelsea Elementary School.
On June 2, 1956, she was married at Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey to
Melvin O. Neumueller. He survives. Melvin and Irma owned and operated a small
dairy farm in the Town of Chelsea for a number of years. Irma was also known as
“Grandmother” to many, many children. She enjoyed gardening, berry picking,
canning and baking. She also enjoyed playing games, putting puzzles together and
cards, especially cribbage and going for rides in the country. Irma also enjoyed
going too and watching ball games and going to all of her grandchildren’s
events. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey.
Irma is survived by her husband, Melvin O. Neumueller of Medford; children
Deanne (Ronald) Blasel of Dorchester, Sheila (Ray) Fuchs of Stetsonville, David
Neumueller of Medford, Dale Neumueller of Greenwood, Dennis (Fiancée Linda
Klinger) Neumueller of Medford and Wanda (Dan) Utecht of Medford; 14
grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sibling Darlene (Walter) Reynolds of
Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
She is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Myrtle (Rindt) Schwoch; and a
sister, Grace Warner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Irma’s family to be designated at a
later date.
