Komborski, Mary (7 MAR 1886 – 7 APR 1969)
Funeral services were held for Mary Komborski, age 83, former Stanley resident
for 45 years, on Thursday at St. (??) Church, with interment at Maryhill
Cemetery at Niles, Illinois.
Mary Komborski passed away at her home in Niles, Illinois on Monday, April 7,
1969. Mrs. Komborski was born March 7, 1886 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, the
daughter of Peter and Katherine Kudingo. They moved to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.)
in 1897, and in 1903 she was united in marriage to Albert Regal Sr.. To this
union five children were born. On November 9, 1914 she was united in marriage to
Andrew Komborski at St. Mary's Church in Stanley, and to this union four
children were born. They farmed in rural Stanley until 1942 when they moved to
Chicago, and later to Niles, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant daughter, Rosemary, son,
Joseph Regal, and a daughter, Lucille Kubicki.
Survivors are her husband, Andrew, five daughters: Mrs. Walter (Clara) Rylko of
Franklin Park, Ill.; Mrs. Harold (Regina) Rademacher of Chippewa Falls; Mrs.
George (Agnes) Johnson of Chicago; Martha and Helen of Niles; and one son,
Albert Regal of Stanley; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
