Snyder, Sandra Kay (12 APR 1969)
Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Stanley, was the scene for the marriage at two
p.m. Saturday, April 12th, 1969 for Sandra Kay Snyder and James Robert
Dobrzynski. Rev. Carl W. Peters performed the ceremony. Mrs. Orville Peterson
sang "The Song of Ruth: and Mr. Wayne Qualheim sang "The Wedding Prayer," with
Mrs. Daniel Nefzger as organist.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Claire Snyder, Stanley, and Mr. and Mrs.
Wallace Dobrzynski, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a colonial styled floor length
gown with satin panels bordered with Chantilly lace, featuring lace bodice and
sweetheart sleeves, complemented by a jeweled neckline. Her cathedral length
veil was of white bridal illusion with Chantilly lace bordering and she carried
white sweetheart roses.
Mrs. Linda Smith was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Jenni Schneider, Judy
Smoczyk, Ann Affeldt and Kathy Mondykowski. They all wore floor length A-line
pink slipper satin gowns. Each wore headpiece of pink and white arrayed daisies
and carried colonial bouquets of white and pink daisies and carnations.
Dick Dobrzynski was best man, with Bill Stasila, Louis Luzinski, Steven Snyder
and Barry Snyder as groomsmen. Ushers were Dick Dobrzynski and Dick Schneider.
Janice Schneider was flower girl, wearing a white floor length A-line lace on
satin gown. Mike Dobrzynski was ring bearer.
After a wedding trip to Lake Tainter, Menomonie, they will make their home in
Menomonie.
