Strzok, Stanley (? – 5 MAY 1969)
Word was received here of the death of Stanley Strzok of Miami, Florida. Stanley
came to Wisconsin with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Strzok, when they came to
this country from Poland in 1887, and spent his boyhood on their farm in the
town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), the oldest of twelve children. He later worked
in the west at Casper, Wyoming, and other places, then in Milwaukee and Detroit
as a building contractor. He was married while in Detroit, and his wife,
Josephine, passed away in early 1942. Shortly after that he moved to Miami,
Florida, where he since made his home.
He passed away on May 5th, 1969, and was buried May 10th at Miami.
He leaves to mourn, three sisters, Mrs. Peter (Kate) Piwoni of Thorp; Mrs.
Charles (Julia) Sapa of Milwaukee; Anna Panek of Owen; and four brothers,
Michael and Ignatz of Gilman; Charles of Detroit, and Joseph of Thorp. His
parents and five brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
