Shewczyk Tillie (15 MAR 1889 – 29 MAY 1969)
Tillie Shewczyk, 80, passed away suddenly Thursday, May 29th, 1969 at the home
of her son John, rt.1, Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.).
Funeral services were held at the Holy Assumption Orthodox Church, Lublin, on
Saturday, May 31. Rev. Peter Tzudanoff of St. Paul, Minn. officiated at the ten
a.m. service, with burial in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Richard Shewczyk, Darac Daczyk, David Jankoski, Harry Kabon,
Frank Pretruzak, and Palmer Gomulko.
Tillie Skryp was born March 15, 1889 in Austria. Shew as preceded in death by
her husband, Mike, in 1956. The last while she was a resident of the Gilman
Nursing home.
Surviving are three sons, Steve and John Shewczyk, both of Lublin, Frank
Shewczyk of Hales Corners; three daughters, (Ann) Mrs. Charles Flesal of
Chicago, (Mary) Mrs. Roger Puaciea of Plover, (Pearl) Mrs. Walt Daczyk of
Milwaukee; one brother, John Skryp, of Chicago, and 9 grandchildren.
