Doege, Grace (13 JUN 1969)

Bouquets of carnations and daisies were on the altar of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Thorp, for the candlelight marriage of Miss Grace Doege and Charles Huberty, on Friday, June 13, 1969. Rev. R.W. Olson performed the 7:30 double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Herman Doege of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Albert and Edith Huberty of Stanley.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose a white satin and lace cocktail length dress with a mantilla waist length veil.

Mrs. Eileen Grunseth was her aunt's matron of honor wearing a light blue cocktail length dress featuring a dark blue ribbon on the midriff and she wore a matching ribbon headpiece.

Gerald Huberty was his twin brother's best man, and ushers were Robert Doege, brother of the bride, and Don Boss, cousin of the groom.

A reception was held in the church parlors following the marriage ceremony.

Starting July 1st the groom will be employed in Columbus, Indiana, and the bride was with American Airlines, Chicago.

After a wedding trip to San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and points between, they will be at home in Columbus, Indiana.

Out of town guests were from Chicago, Watkins, Minn., Holland, Mich., Stanley, Greenwood, Withee, Chippewa Falls, Medford, Gilman and Milwaukee.
