Rakovec, Frances (14 JUN 1969)
Miss Frances Rakovec, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rakovec, Marshfield,
became the bride of David Griebel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wunrow, Wisconsin
Rapids, at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield, on Saturday, June 14th, 1969.
Rev. Robert a. Brezinski performed the 10:45 a.m. marriage ceremony. Miss Mary
Folz played and the school chorus sang.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Chantilly lace and nylon
organza A-line gown styled with chapel chantilace falling from the waist and an
elbow length illusion veil fell from a crystal crown. The bride carried a
bouquet of red roses.
Miss Clara Rakovec was maid of honor, and bridesmaid was Miss Theresa Rakovec.
They appeared in nylon dotted Swiss over taffeta gowns, accented by a satin band
at the empire waistline. The headpieces were petal daisy crown holding short
veils, and each carried bouquets of carnations.
Miss Shirley Wunrow as a flower girl.
Bob Trybula was best man, and John Rakovec was groomsman. Ushers were Anton
Rakovec and Jim Trybula.
A dinner and reception were held at the bride's home.
