A surprise 50th wedding anniversary supper and party were given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. John Kozenka of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bartosiewicz of Withee, Sunday evening, July 20, 1969 at the home of Joe Kozenka, by the children, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Michur, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kozenka and Mr. Melvin Bartosiewicz.

The former Josephine Norysewicz and John Kozenka and the former Helen Norysewicz and Frank Bartosiewicz were married July 21, 1919 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Two of their attendants were present, Mr. Anton Norysewicz and Mrs. Victoria Jarocki of Thorp.

The following guests attended: Mr. and Mrs. Anton Norysewicz, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Norysewicz of Illinois; Mrs. Della Okonski and son of Owen; Mrs. Victoria Jarocki, Mrs. Stephanie Wojt, Mrs. Josephine Michur of Stanley; Mr. Melvin Bartosewicz of Withee, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kozenka and son, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Michur and family.
