Martinek, Daniel R. (6 OCT 1952 – 4 AUG 1969)

Daniel R. Martinek died early Monday morning, August 4, 1969, resulting from a car accident on Sunday, August 3, on Wisconsin 27, just south of Ladysmith.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 7th, at two p. m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Butternut. Interment was in St. Cecelia Cemetery, Butternut.

David Martinek was born October 6, 1952 at Cadott and spent his early life and receiving his schooling at Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). The family went to Butternut two years ago, where Daniel was a student at Butternut High School.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Martinek of Butternut; three sisters, Debbie, Deanne and Denise; four brothers, Douglas, Dwight, Duane and Dave, all of Butternut; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Jensen, of Cadott.
