Saturday, August 9, 1969, Miss Carol Soderberg of Melrose Park, Illinois, and John Stewart of Harwood Heights, Illinois, were united in marriage at the St. John Bosco Church, Chicago, by Msgr. Sugrue. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Pat Soderberg of Thorp and Mrs. Mary Stewart, Belfast, Ireland.

Following the ceremony a brunch was served at the Peacock Restaurant, Chicago, and a reception at the home of friends of the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Clint Koebler, Addison, Illinois.

After a wedding trip to norther Michigan, a reception was held for the couple at the home of her parents, on Sunday, August 17, 1969, with dinner served at St. Bernard's Parish Hall.

They are residing at 6826 W. Gunnison, Harwood Heights, Illinois. Mrs. Stewart will teach at Our Lady of Victory Catholic School, Chicago, and the groom is employed as Personnel Director at Saleno-McGowen Biscuit Co., of Niles, Illinois.
