Kuehn, Evan Ernest (17 December 1928 – 24 July 1974)
Evan Ernest Kuehn, 45, Rt. 3 Marshfield, died of an apparent heart attack
Wednesday evening, July 24, at his home.
Mr. Kuehn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Kuehn of Greenwood, was born December 17,
1928 in the Town of Warner. He was a graduate of the Greenwood High School,
class of 1946. He was married to Beverly Radke, September 20, 1958 in the Faith
Lutheran Church at Marshfield. After their marriage, they resided in Marshfield,
where he was employed at the V & H Ford garage as a body man.
Surviving him is his wife and one daugher, Carmella at home, and two sisters,
Mrs. Harold (Eileen) Hodnett of Withee and Mrs. John (Ivalyn) Stephen of Waldo
and one brother, Harold Kuehn of Owen and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Kuehn
of Greenwood.
Funeral services for Evan Ernest Kuehn, 45, who died at his home in Marshfield
Wednesday evening, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Immanuel United Church of
Christ in Greenwood. The Rev. Pacifico Camarin officiated with burial in the
West Side Cemetery in Greenwood.
Pallbearers were Jerry Baltus, Howard Marten, Lon Johnson, Robert Wilson, Allen
Sternitzky and Robert Schwantas all of Marshfield.
The Immanuel church choir sand “In the Garden” and “Beyond the Sunset”
accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Alvin Albert.
Among those from away who attended were Mr. and Mrs. John Stephen of Waldo and
Mrs. Viola Vandeberg of Portland, Ore.
