Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zawacki spent the weekend at Lake Chetek and Birchwood.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tokarz of Streamwood, Ill, were overnight guests at the Joe
Tokarz resident. Ray is the son of John Tokarz.
Mr. Stanley Staniec returned home from St. Joseph’s Hospital of Chippewa Falls
after a 3-week stay.
Mr. and Mrs. John Tokarz, their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wally Novak and family,
and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wegrzyn, all of Chicago, vacationed here for a week at the
Joe Tokarz residence.
Mr. and Mrs. Felix Deegan were vacationing for 6 weeks at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Kulinski. They live in Chicago. They left for home Sunday. Their son,
Stanley Deegan, also of Chicago, who was an overnight guest at the Kulinski
home, drove them back home. They love Wisconsin.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Stokosa attended a dinner at their daughters’ home in Gilman,
Mr. and Mrs. Anton Filipiak. The occasion, Mr. and Mrs. Filipiak baptized their
baby boy, who was named Douglas Peter.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bak of Chicago spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs.
Caroline Galarowicz, and visiting other relatives and friends.
Steve Pawelko, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pawelko, came home for the weekend. He is
attending the School of Engineering in Milwaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Nowak attended a wedding Saturday afternoon at Ladysmith. She
is Pete Kostick’s granddaughter, the bride that is. The Nowaks also spend Sunday
at Rice Lake with their son, Leonard, and family, and also went fishing. They
came back with a nice haul of fish.
Tim Milas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milas, spent the weekend with his parents here.
He attends the Milwaukee Technical School in Milwaukee.
