Evangelical Free Church, Loves Park, Ill. Was the scene for the marriage
ceremony of Miss Deborah Thompson and Jerry Buss of Rockford, Ill., on Saturday,
October 5, 1969. Miss Betty Buss, the groom’s sister, was soloist. Kenny
Thompson was candlelighter.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Thompson of Rockford, Ill., and
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer buss, Withee (Clark Co.), Wisconsin.
The bride chose an empire styled peau de soie gown with nylon lace appliques,
styled with stand away collar, long fitted sleeves, slightly gathered bouffant
train and fingertip veil. She carried white carnations.
Miss Becki Thompson was her sister’s maid of honor, and bridesmaid was Miss
Beverly Buss, the groom’s sister. They wore empire styled gowns with wine red
velvet bodice and pink crepe skirts. Each carried a bouquet of pink carnations.
Lyle Beyesdorff was best man, and Bob Williams was the groomsman. Ushers were
Dennis Thompson and Gary Buss.
