Gac, Paul M. (24 JAN 1896 – 2 NOV 1969)
Paul M. Gac, 76, passed away of heart failure on November 2, 1969 at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls.
Funeral services were held at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin on November 5, 1969.
Rev. Casimir Paul officiated at the ten a.m. services, and burial was in the
parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: Joseph Gajda, Paul Gajda, John Gajda, Ed
Gajda, Raymond Gajda and Leoanrd Galarowicz.
Mr. Gac was born January 24, 1896 in Poland. He came to the states, but in 1918
he went back to Poland and fought in the Polish Army during World War I. He came
back to the U.S. in 1920 and lived in Chicago, and in 1943 came to Lublin and
farmed until his retirement. He was married in April 1923 in Chicago to Sophie
Gajda, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, Richard Gac of Fort Atkinson, and one grandson, Paul A
Gac of Fort Atkinson.
