Joseph C. Roth, 86, Mason City, Iowa, formerly of Loyal, died peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday March 10, at Epiphany Parish St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Mason City, with Rev. Neil Manternach officiating. The family will greet friends and family from 9:15-10:15 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Per Joseph’s wishes, his body will be cremated following services. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., on Thursday, March 9, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, Mason City. A 4th Degree Knights of Columbus rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by a wake service at the funeral home.

Joseph was born on April 5, 1930, in Loyal, the son of George and Estella (nee Hemphill) Roth.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Ora Lee (Ledger) Roth.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of North Iowa or Epiphany Parish.

Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, Mason City, is assisting the family with arrangements.
