Lemke, Timothy “Tim” J. Jr. (15 JUL 1977 - 23 FEB 2017)
Timothy “Tim” J. Lemke, Jr., age 39, a former Medford resident, passed away on
Thursday, Feb. 23 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Stanley, where he was taken
earlier by ambulance.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church, Medford with Pastor Brian Mundt officiating. Visitation will be
held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Medford from 9 a.m. until the time of the
service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28
Tim was born on July 15, 1977 in Medford to Sally (Kraus) and Timothy Lemke, Sr.
he attended Immanuel Lutheran Day School, Medford and was a 1995 graduate of
Medford High School as a gifted athlete and honor student. He received a
bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UW-La Crosse.
In July of 2002 he married Dawn Heintz in Medford and they were later divorced.
After his education, he worked at Foremost Foods in Milan, Abbyland in
Abbotsford and worked as a teacher’s aide at Medford High School for periods of
time. He enjoyed his two cats, music, playing guitar, watching movies, spending
time with his son, girlfriend, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his son, Quin Lemke of Bradenton,
Fla.; fiance, Taryn Blecka of Thorp; sisters, Kari (Jason) Rappe of Medford and
Laurie Lemke of Rhinelander; and paternal grandmother, Florence Lemke of
Medford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to
the family for a scholarship fund for his son, Quin.
