Badzinski, Mr./Mrs. Walter (63rd – OCT 1969)
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Badzinski celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary October
29th, 1969 with a 9:30 Mass at St. Hedwig's Church. Rev. Constance Chilicki
officiated, assisted by R. Flashinski and Grandson, Gary Badzinski, as altar
boys. The adult choir sang for this event. A potluck dinner was served at the
school basement to sixty-five members of the family and Father Chilicki. Guests
attending were Mr. Louis Badzinski, Mr. and Mrs. John Badzinski and family, Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Badzinski and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Badzinski and family of
Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Strzok and family, Gilman, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley
Stasczuk and family, Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. David Kraemer and family,
Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Krych and family, Minneapolis, Minn., Mr. and
Mrs. George Badzinski, Bayfield, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Badzinski and family of
Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Badzinski and family, Colby, Mr. and Mrs. James
Stephens and family, Karen Badzinski, Waupaca, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Badzinski
and family, Coon Rapids, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Ted Stroinski and family,
Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Badzinski, Lynn Badzinski, Eau Claire, Mrs. Mary
Ann Boettcher and daughter, Milwaukee, Mrs. Patty Gorst and son, Spencer. One
son and family of Oklahoma were unable to attend.
Myrtle Kubera was united in marriage to Walter Badzinski in 1906 at Roseau,
Minn. To this union came twelve children, fifty-six grandchildren and
fifty-three great-grandchildren. There has been only one death in sixty-three
years, that of a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Louis Badzinski.
