Sunday dinner guests at the Joe Miller home were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hakes and
Alena of Washburn, Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Hakes and family, and Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Hakes.
Mrs. Dick Anderson and Mike and Scott of Chippewa, and Mrs. Florence Booth were
Sunday visitors at the Charles Nitz home.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Ryniec and Gary and Robbie of Janesville, and Mrs. Lawrence
Henke of Owen spent the weekend at the Don Miller home.
Bill Manier and son-in-law, Paul Williams, of Sheridan, Ind. Are staying with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Manier, while hunting deer in this area.
Bob Brandt of Kenosha, Don Brandt and son Johnnie of Eau Claire, and John Brandt
and son Jimmy of Thorp visited with their mother, Mrs. Minnie Brandt while
spending the weekend hunting deer in this area. Mrs. Brandt's grandson, Jimmy
Brandt of Thorp, shot a ten point buck Saturday while hunting on his
grandmother's land in South Worden.
Ida Matthiesen of Marshfield is staying with her daughter, Mrs. Dick Brandt
while Dick is away hunting deer.
Mrs. Dennis Olichwier and Randy and Jimmy, Mrs. Orville Manier and Johnny, and
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Manier helped Mrs. Joe Horban celebrate her birthday
Thursday afternoon.
