Ronald C. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Anderson, route 3, Thorp (Clark
Co., Wis.), was promoted October 23, 1969 to Army Specialist four while assigned
to the 4th Infantry Division in Vietnam.
Spec. 4 Anderson is a rifleman in Company C, 3rd Battalion of the division's 8th
Infantry near Pleiku. He entered the Army in February 1969, completed basic
training at Fort Campbell, Ky., and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash., before
arriving overseas.
The 20-year-old Soldier attended Thorp High School. Before entering the Army, he
was employed as a carpenter by V.S. Homes in Waterloo, Wisconsin.
