Panek, Joan (15 NOV 1969)

Miss Joan Panek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Panek became the bride of Dale Revoy, son of Mrs. William Revoy of Zion, Ill., on November 15, 1969, at St. Hedwig's Chapel at 2 p.m. The Rev. William Matzek officiated.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of Soie Peau over bridal taffeta, accented with lace and pearl appliques. The bodice was fashioned with a bateau neckline and Bishop sleeves, and A-line skirt falling from an empire waistline, with a chapel train. The bouquet consisted of white Fuji mums.

Mrs. Marc Huntley of Deerfield, Ill., was maid of honor. Miss Barbi Stuesser and Miss Debby Panek were bridesmaids.

The attendants wore floor length gowns of emerald green cut velvet and chiffon.

The best man was Gene Stried of Zion, Ill. Bill Revoy of Kenosha and Thomas Pawlak, Evergreen Park, Ill., were groomsmen. The wedding guests were ushered in by Daniel Panek.

The mother of the bride wore a 2-piece pink crepe and lace dress. The groom's mother wore emerald green. The corsages were white Fuji Mums.

Karen and Jimmy Forrester carried the offering. Miss Sharon Stuesser played the organ and Donna and Sue Panek, Mary and Judy Stuesser, and Mrs. Chet Forrester sang "Hear Oh Lord and Sons of God."

The wedding reception was held at the Quonset Hall for 265 guests. Mrs. Peter Moskiewicz was hostess. The music was furnished by Mike Kryzanski and his Nightengales. Father Allen, a cousin of the bride, and brother Carl, of Louisville, Kentucky, honored the bridal couple by attending the reception.

Guests from out of town were from Toronto, Canada, Chicago, Zion, Waukegan, Evergreen Park, Lindenhurst, Kenosha, Owen, Chippewa, Wildwood, River Grove, Palatine, Gilman.

The bride and groom are both employed at the Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago They will reside at Rt. 1, Box 168A, Zion, Ill.
