Victor A. Slowiak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex E. Slowiak, route 1, Stanley, Wis.,
was promoted September 19, 1969 to Army Specialist four at Ft. Campbell, Ky.,
where he is serving the 51st Engineer Battalion.
A combat engineer in the battalion's Company C, Spec. 4 Slowiak entered the Army
in August 1968 and was last stationed in Vietnam.
The 21-year-old soldier graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School, Stanley, Wis.,
in 1966. His wife, Jacelyn, lives in Clarksville, Tennessee.
