First Lieutenant Edward R. Weyer was awarded the Army Commendation Medal on
December 6, 1971, for exceptionally outstanding service at the United State
Continental Arm Command Intelligence Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Lieutenant Weyer spent the past years and a half of his commissioned service at
Fort Bragg in charge of a large classified library, which supports the
Directorate of Research and Analysis at the Intelligence Center.
He returned to civilian life on December 19th and spent the holiday season with
his family at Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). He will return to Spring Lake, North
Carolina to live, and will be employed by the Department of the Army at the
CONARC Intelligence Center at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
