Rohland, Douglas A. (15 OCT 1960 - 8 MAR 2017)

Douglas A. Rohland, age 56, of Withee passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Pastor Teri Hanson will officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10 and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Doug was born on October 15, 1960, the son of Rhinehart and Audrey (Rossow) Rohland in Stanley. He graduated from Owen-Withee High School.

Doug was united in marriage on May 31, 1980 to Laurie Jorgensen in Neillsville. He worked at Sierra Pacific Windows and Doors (formerly Hurd) in Medford for 27 years.

Doug enjoyed life, was a jokester, had a wonderful heart and would help out anyone in any way he could. He was an avid Packers fan and loved hunting and fishing, especially with his boys. Most importantly, Doug was devoted husband and father and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Doug is survived by his wife, Laurie; six children: Tyrel Erickson of Chippewa Falls, Misty Shawn) Susa of Green Bay, Alicia (Chad) Martin of Madison, Jeremy Rohland of Medford, Amanda (Eric) Rodriguez of Spencer and Joshua Rohland (Amy Gagnon) of Kewaunee; six grandchildren: Sierra, Jacob, Kyler, Mason, Kayleigh and Olivia.
