Wednesday morning about 4:00 a.m., the Greenwood Fire Department was called to the Floyd Plautz farm to fight a barn fire. The barn was completely destroyed, as were two sows, many small pigs, bicycles, some hay and machinery. The cause of the fire is undetermined. The loss was partially covered by insurance.
