Mrs. Ted Downer of Neillsville is a hospital patient. All of her friends here wish her a speedy recovery.

Rich Bartsch accompanied other members of the Marshfield University Center Ski Club on a weekend ski trip to Whitecap Mountain this past weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pernsteiner Jr. spent Saturday and Sunday in Madison, where they were guests of relatives and attended a wedding.

The Granton High Wrestling team, their coach, Steve Nelson, and Mr. Erpenbach, principal, attended the state wrestling finals at Madison on Friday and Saturday, February 24 and 25.

David White and Bruce Crothers spent the weekend at their homes here, returning Monday evening to River Falls, where they will register for the spring quarter on Tuesday. David White is completing work on his degree in journalism this quarter.

Mr. and Mrs. Algene Schmidtke of Stratford spent Sunday with his mother, Flossie Schmidtke and enjoyed the snowmobiling, as the season draws towards a close.
