Garbush, Lee A. (14 SEP 1909 – 20 MAR 1972)
Lee A. Garbush, 62, Route 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died Monday at Memorial
Hospital, Neillsville.
Services for Lee Garbush will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Georgas Funeral
Home in Neillsville, with Rev. Melvin Nickel, pastor of the United Methodist
Church, officiating. Burial will take place in the Town of Lynn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 9 a.m., Wednesday until the
time of services.
Lee Arthur Garbush was born September 14, 1909 in the town of Lynn, where he
received his education. He operated a farm of his father's for several years,
and was married on September 14, 1936 at Marenselo, Michigan to the former Helen
Martens. They lived in Marshfield for several years, then moved to a farm in the
Loyal area, which he operated for 15 years. He retired from farming seven years
ago because of ill health.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Leslie (Carol) Hagen, route 2,
Loyal, one sister, Mrs. Edward (Violet) Barth, Chili, a brother, Albert Masephol,
Pittsville, and one grandchild.
