Dahl, Bernetta A. (Faber) (8 APR 1933 - 8 SEP 2010)
Bernetta A. Dahl, 77, of W2378 State Highway 64, Medford, passed away on
Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she
had been a patient for the past 5 weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, September 13, at St. Andrew Ev.
Lutheran Church, town of Goodrich, with Rev. Terry Reich officiating. Interment
will follow at St. Andrew Ev. Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons-Michael, Thomas & Steven Dahl, Cole Ziehlke,
Adam Schwarz, Jesse Redetzke.
Visitation will be held at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford from 4-7 PM Sunday,
September 12 and also at church from 9:30 AM until time of funeral services at
10:30 AM on Monday, September 13.
Bernetta was born on April 8, 1933, at the town of Goodrich, to Peter and Leone
(Marschner) Faber, Sr. She attended Woodville grade school, township of
Goodrich, and graduated from Medford High School.
On June 5, 1954, Bernetta married Lyle Dahl, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church,
Medford. He survives.
Prior to her marriage, she worked in Minneapolis, MN and clerked at the Broadway
Store in Medford for periods of time. After their marriage, they farmed in the
town of Goodrich until her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed traveling, cooking,
reading and her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Andrew Ev. Lutheran
Church, town of Goodrich & its Ladies Aid.
Bernetta is survived by her husband Lyle Dahl of Medford; children Bradley
(Ramona) Dahl of Medford; Nancy (David) Ziehlke of Medford; and Julie (Brian)
Rouiller of Medford; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Carol (Elmer) Riemann of Medford; Brothers
Norbert Faber of Merrill, Everett (Marion) Faber, Gene Faber & James (Donna)
Faber all of Medford.
She is predeceased by her parents, Peter and Leone (Marschner) Faber, Sr., 1
granddaughter, and siblings Harley, Willard, Robert & Peter Jr. Faber.
