There were 22 present at the York Center Methodist Cemetery Association annual meeting held Tuesday evening in the church.

The books were audited by Mrs. Flossie Schmidtke, Donald Holt, and Rollie Benedict. The meeting was then called to order by the president, Alvin Dahl. Nyle Benedict gave the Secretary and Treasurer's reports. It was voted to purchase a mower.

The Audit Committee appointed for next year is Mrs. Roy Chase, Mrs. Verla Hales, Mrs. Jesse Richmond, and Glen Lavey.

Refreshment committee – Mrs. Melford Rowe, Mrs. Freda Frischman, Mrs. Flossie Schmidtke, Mrs. Roy Chase, Mrs. Ray Hetzel, and Rollie Benedict.

Election of officers was held and the following will serve for the year. President, Alvin Dahl; Secretary and Treasurer, Nyle Benedict; Director for 3 years, Melford Rowe; Caretaker, Nyle Benedict.

Refreshments were served after the meeting by rs. Arnold Epper, Mrs. Nyle Benedict, Donald Holt, Mrs. Jesse Richmond, and Mrs. Helen Lawrence.

A bridal shower was held Monday evening at the Merle Bartsch home for Arlene Mechelke. Receiving prizes for games were Mrs. Myrtle Davis, Mrs. Marcia Crothers, Mrs. Earl Falconer, Mrs. Nyle Benedict, Mrs. Joe Zvolena, and Mrs. Roy Chase. Mrs. Marcia Crothers received the door prize. Arlene was presented with a carnation corsage from Marcia. A delicious pot luck lunch was served later.
