Strnad, Anna (20 JUL 1888 – 16 APR 1972)
Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Hill Funeral Home, Greenwood
(Clark Co., Wis.), and at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard for
Mrs. Anna Strnad, 83, of Elmhurst, Illinois, who died at 5 p.m. Sunday, April
16, 1972, at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.
She had been a patient at the hospital the past month and was a resident of the
Memorial Home, Neillsville, the past ten months.
The Rev. Michael Mertens, pastor, officiated, and burial was made in the parish
cemetery.
Mrs. Strnad was born July 20, 1888, in Czechoslovakia.
Survivors include two daughter, Mrs. Phillip (Ann) Lamovec, Elmhurst, Illinois,
and Mrs. Donald (Frances) Brower, Lyons, Illinois; two sons, Leoanrd and Jerry,
both of Chicago; six grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Rose) Fojik,
Medina, Illinois; and Mrs. John (Mary) Schultz, Maywood, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.
