Pieper, Debra Ann (25 MAR 1972)
St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Colby, was the scene of the marriage of Debra Ann
Pieper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Pieper, route, 1, Spencer, to James
Richard Young, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Young, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). The
marriage was performed Saturday, March 25, 1972, at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Arthur
Rasch. DeAnn Smith and Diane Schultz were the organist, with Peg Prien and
Bonnie Wehrman singing.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full length white lace over
satin gown with a train. Her bouquet consisted of red roses and white
carnations, and her veil rell from a flower and ribbon headpiece.
Miss Sharon Hein(?), Kenosha, was the maid of honor, with Miss Karen Potter,
route 1, Spencer, and Miss Judy Young, Loyal, as bridesmaids.
Robert Boehning, route 1, Loyal, was the best man, with Joseph Zupanc,
Milwaukee, and Dennis Pieper, route 1, Spencer, as the groomsmen. Performing the
ushering duties were Dale Alexander and David Pieper.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Amber Inn, Loyal, with a 4:30
dinner served at the Methodist Church, Loyal. The dance was held that night at
the Spencer municipal Hall.
The Young couple are making their home on route 2, Loyal.
He is a graduate of Loyal High School and employed by Greenwood Homes of
Greenwood. She is a senior student at Loyal High School.
