Miss Beverly Volovsek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Volovsek, Willard (Clark
Co., Wis.), is the recipient of the 1972-73 Art Scholarship Award of $200. The
Scholarship is sponsored by the American Association of University Women, and is
awarded annually based on academic achievements and accomplishments in the art
field.
As well as achieving an exceptional cumulative grad point of 3.06 in three years
of study at the university, Miss Volovsek is also active within the art
department. She has recently been elected treasurer of the University Art Club.
She was chosen to design the program covers for the recent exhibition on the
campus, and in the 1972 All-Student Art Show received the Best Drawing Award of
$20 for one of her entries.
Miss Volovsek is a junior at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, and is
majoring in secondary art education.
