Raeck, Martha (3 JAN 1889 – 14 MAY 1972)

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers, for Mrs. Martha Raeck, 83, a former resident of Clark County, who died Sunday at Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc, where she had been making her home.

The Rev. Karl Koch officiated and burial was made in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.

Mrs. Raeck was born January 3, 1889 in the town of Two Rivers, and was married August 25, 1909, in Clark County, Wisconsin to Frederick Raeck, who preceded her in death September 9, 1971. The couple had farmed in Clark County until five years ago, when they moved to Manitowoc.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Walter Ruether, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Ben Bukacheck, Annandale, Minnesota; a step-sister, Mrs. William Schramm, Two Rivers; a step-brother, Harry Drier, Two Rivers; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.
