Pieper, Joanne (Obadal) (4 MAY 1946 - 7 APR 2017)
Joanne (Obadal) Pieper, 70, Camden, Ark., formerly of Catawba, died on April 7,
2017, of cervical cancer while under the care of Home health Care and Hospice
and her family.
She was born on May 4, 1946, in Phillips, the daughter of Joseph and Geraldine (Leder)
Obadal. She attended and graduated from Phillips High School, with the Class of
1964. After graduation she served her country in the U.S. Army for 2 years.
Following her military service she made her home in Baraboo, Wi., where she was
employed at a ammunition plant and then at Flambeau Plastics until the time of
her retirement.
She was married to Edward Pieper on May 11, 1969 in Phillips. He preceded her in
death.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Pamela (Jack Mitchell) Pieper, Camden, Ark., by 2
sisters: Carol Ponshock, Barbara (George) Meives, by 2 brothers: Tom and John
Obadal, all of Phillips, and by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Edwin, and by 1 son
Greg.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the
Redlin Funeral Home, Baraboo, WI.
