Knack, Karen (26 APR 1956 – 22 MAY 1972)
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24 at St. Anthony's
Catholic Church, Loyal, for Karen Knack, 16, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), who died
at 12:02 a.m. Monday, May 22, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield from injuries
suffered in an automobile accident. The Rev. N.E. King officiated, and burial
was made in the parish cemetery.
Roycraft Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Knack was born April 26, 1956, at
Marshfield. She was a member of the sophomore class at Loyal High School. Karen
was an accomplished musician serving as accompanist and was a member of the high
school band. Karen was also a cheerleader at Loyal High School.
The P.C.C.W. of St. Anthony's Catholic Church conducted a rosary at 3:00 p.m.,
and the Parish Rosary at 8:30 p.m.
School was dismissed Wednesday afternoon so the students could attend the
services.
Karen was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her parents, two sisters, Kristine, UW, Green Bay, and
Barbara, at home; one brother, David, at home; and her grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Thwing, Clintonville, Wisconsin.
