Mrs. John Kadonsky, a resident of Abbotsford since 1914, celebrated her
ninety-second birthday anniversary Monday, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Frank Stoughton, Abbotsford.
Relatives and friends gathered at the Stoughton home. In the evening the guests
were entertained by pictures of past incidents, which were projected on a screen
by a reflectoscope, operated by Frances and John Kadonsky, grandsons of Mr.
Kadonsky.
Mrs. Kadonsky was born in Austria March 25, 1843. She was married there in 1863
to John Kadonsky. The couple came to American, settling at Milwaukee, where five
children were born to them - Mrs. Frank Stoughton, Abbotsford; Mrs. Peter
Kinzell, Minot, ND; Mrs. Louis Buholtz, Nekoosa; John, town of Holton and Frank
Abbotsford.
From Milwaukee, the family moved to a farm in the town of Houlton. In 1914, they
came to Abbotsford where Mr. Kadonsky died in 1920.
Among those present at the celebration Monday weer Mr. and Mrs. Anton Stallman,
Corinth; Mrs. Bert Shead, Portland, OR; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bucholtz, Nekoosa;
Mr. and Mrs. John Kandonsy and sons town of Houlton; and Mrs. and Mrs. Frank
Kadonsky and children, Abbotsford.
Mrs. Kadonsky is enjoying good health and is still active.
